I love the way the Earth surrounds us in symbols and life lessons if we stop long enough to listen and see and smell and touch. If we are willing to stop the busyness and receive. I love to sit with Earth’s energy and feel the abundant gifts of her in my world. Whether I am weaving clay bodies into marbled functional ware or weaving glazes together just to see what will happen, I never lose sight of the beauty and harmony that is possible in life when diversity is embraced and celebrated. Stronger together. Stronger because of our many differences.

My Moon Rune Chains blend concepts from the Druid, Shamanic and Norse cultures, celebrating the symbols and rituals that have endured over time bringing the energy of Earth, harmony, abundance, protection and love into our lives.These chains are designed to enhance the energy of every home with seven binding rune symbols topped by a Norse Sigil of protection - ready to hang by a door or on a curtain rod. And are complete at the bottom with a bell or serpentine jade. Available in Large and small.

And, of course, this year I have added to my ornaments and totems of the season.

My current functional collection celebrates my love of Grandmother Ocean.  Marbled exposed clay finished with gloss glazes that create the sensation of water dancing on sand.  I also have pieces that bring forward layered earth tones, many with a copper accent.

Imagine my functional pottery holding your favorite cheese toast, chocolate cake, anniversary roses, linguini, cup 'o joe! While hand washing is a best practice to ensure longer life of each piece, my functional ware is designed to be microwave safe and resilient for every day use.
